    KC Area winter hang...round TWO!

OK, so I'm curious if there'd be any interest in a hang in the Kansas City area sometime say in early/mid December this year?

Weasel and I got a bunch of folks to come down and check out our hide out last year in January, and we had a great time. So...I figured I'd throw out an invite and test the waters, and discuss some dates.

How about Friday night (December 7th) thru Sunday afternoon (December 9th), again at the Woodridge Public Use area on Clinton Lake?

Car camping at/near the trailhead, with the option to walk the 4.5 miles of trails to the lake and back. A lot of folks seemed pleasently surprised with this little park last year.

    Thoughts? Takers?

Awesome...you and Otter are always more than welcome! Let's see if we can convince some more folks to come!

I'm thinking this year I gotta duplicate the wheelbarrow concept for car camping! =-)

Sounds good to me -- I'll pass the word around to some of the hangers on BCUSA.

I'll have to let you know the closer we get. Went through a job change and it kinda used up all my kitchen passes. But it's not like it would cost much to drive to Lawrence and walk around.

It was fun watching the fire fly scramble. While wearing Carhart.
