Boy we are lucky, non of those 105* temps, no fire ban, drought and dryness further subsiding, new water for lake and streams, we have hammock tarps and big hang'em high tarps and I'm sharing a site with best cook on planet, mr babelfish5, and of course Old Gringo will be in comfort with his portable in door hammock, yep we're lucky, plus no wildfires burning in my beloved native state of Texas. We'll be happier than hogs in a slop trough, jim

Hey, I can clearly remember it being 90 degrees for thanksgiving. We're blessed that it's gonna be so pretty!

I know we're doing stone soup one night. Is there any requests of something to bring to put in it?

I honestly don't know what I should bring. I hate not bringing anything. So do we need anything? How about some breads? Cookies? Pie? Make a big batch of crock pot queso to bring to the potluck later with a bunch of chips?

That could be a useful field in the spreadsheet -- what people plan to bring to the potluck

I remember being stranded in the snow on thanksgiving....you just never know I'm really excited about this hang, and I'm sure it's going to be great no matter what the weather holds!

Even if it rains, I'm sure there's enough tarps that we will have a great time.

I've got a Weight Weenie coming too ( not the micro) thanks to Spaceweseal for suggesting them.

So, what are some other questions in addition to Pot Luck, Stone Soup, and Friday night snacks? And what are the answers to those questions as well?

I can bring some homemade cookies. Chocolate chip? Chocolate chip and pecan? What's folks favorite cookies. Butterscotch chip, white chocolate chip, oatmeal rasin, etc. Homemade cookies are cheap and easy and good.

You had me at cookies! I like chocolate chips/pecan. Mmmm, but all of them that you mentioned are my favorites! (yes all of them!)
