Question Grand Trunk All Terrain Hybrid Hammock?

I was looking around for a dual layer hammock and happened upon a Grand Trunk hammock/shelter/tarp all in one package. Has anyone by chance tried this? If not I'm very interested in trying it out.

I did some search-foo myself with no results. It may be in an archive somewhere. I hope someone can find it. I'd LOVE to read about this one.

I was one of the HF testers.
Bear in mind, this is an Either / Or dual duty item. You can use it as a tarp OR a hammock. One at a time! It works well as either, but not both at the same time.
It works very well as a tarp, water proof & all that, ample tie outs! Pretty good as a cool weather hammock. As it is water proof, if you sweat you swim. I recently gave mine to a,,,,, large, friend (around 300+ lbs) & it held him very well.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, youíre home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

I believe the name may have changed and it used to be call the All Terrain Travel Hammock. A search for that or ATTH may yield more results.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to do some more research on this one. What I am really interested in is the fact that it is a lot lighter than my current tarp (Kelty noah) and it has multiple configurations. It also gives me a lot of options while I'm on the trail. hmmmmm.

Just keep in mind that it isn't going to give a lot of coverage as a tarp (only 3 ft on each side of the ridgeline). I have one and think that it's best use is primarily a hammock that can be used as a shelter if you want to have a place to get out of the rain for a bit.
