storm knocked trees are down and branches across trail. would be hard to pull a pulk. if there is enough snow for snowshoes i doubt we can drive there.

Bummer, I was going to convert my son's sled. I'll most likely be arriving Saturday, if I'm able to make it. Still have to find an underquilt for my son to use.

Edit: Put me down as confirmed, will shoot for all 3 days going to request Friday off

Yeah I was already planning on hiking in. I'd be up for joining the crowd.

I'd love to be able to do the hike, but won't be able to get the extra day, Friday off is the most I can do.

Doing my Best to get off work at the end of January for this Hang.
It looks about 90 % sure that I can make it. I have just enough time off for the Friday morning- Sunday morning hang but no pre-hike for me on this one, ( and I love pre-hikes).
But of course its all null and void if the world comes to an end December 21st.

Anyone know the how the camp fared from Sandy? I have not had a chance to swing by.

I haven't been to Batona, but hiked from Batsto to Lower Forge a week or two ago. Surprisingly little damage. I expected more blowdowns.
