New hanger from ohio

Hello folks , i am just getting my gear together for solo or with the Boys camping/ Hiking IE when the family doesn't feel like joining me. I am in Fremont Ohio. Do we have any Northern Ohio folks on HF. Any suggestions on gear will be appreciated. I took the budget route for now and have a Grand Trunk Skeeter beater pro on the way need suggestions where to improve it.

*waves from VA* Howdy and welcome. I have family in NW corner of Ohio (Wauseon) and manage to get home 3 or 4 times per year.

hey from dayton here! Come out to an Ohio hang with us. We get together atleast once a month sometimes twice. The next one is this weekend at the Old Stone Church trail in the Wayne National Forest. Do a search of the threads for Ohio Hang.

Howdy from Cincinnati. Home territory for me is up in your neck of the woods. Like HamMike said, come to a hang. It's a great way to learn the ropes and meet some mighty fine people.
