I'm going to have to hit the library to find the book. The movie raised a lot of questions for me that I think the book might be able to answer. It was a good movie, but left me a little confused (like, did he really kayak all the way into Mexico? etc. etc.).

    The soundtrack is really good.

It was placed there by enterprising hunters in the past for a base camp. What was cool was Sean Penn who directed the movie visited the bus himself and chose not to use the exact bus, but replicate it out of respect for Chris. Sean Penn did a darn good job on this film, even though as a person he's a real A$$.

Yes I loved the film but HOW did they get the bus there??
It looked to me like you have no chance of driving anything up there.
