wwK10, that is what I based my numbers off of. (550)

And thanks everyone, it was a long project. I have not run a thread injector for almost 15yrs. Once I got it running correctly and using the "tape the baffles" method instead of pinning them, it went much faster. Oh yeah and the fact that I had to completely take it apart once because I failed to look back at my seams. The thread tension was way off. I had loops instead of nice tight stitches. I have three more pillows, and enough material to make another UQ just like this one. After that I plan on making ether a full length UQ or two more 3/4. I am trying to get my Wife and kids into Hammocking. If I have any down left I want to make one of those cool down hats. Are there any good easy plans for making such a contraption?

Looks good, Rock Island! I am working on one as well--about 60% complete. It will be full-length with 8 baffles. 72" x 46" x 4" I have half of the baffles filled already!!! Hoping this will be good down to 20 degrees. That's about as low as it gets here. Gotta love those $10 K-Mart pillows...

I did not plan on any over fill, but there was plenty of room in the baffles.

I also forgot to mention that I built this UQ for just under $30!
    $10 for pillow
    $11 for 4yrds 1.1oz Ripstop Nylon 2nds 48" (Gray)
    $.92 4 cord locks
    $4.00 for 3/32 shock cord 20ft.

This UQ is built using CatSplat's Differential Cut Underquilt Calculator. and rough dimensions from http://www.backwoodsdaydreamer.com/
