Yea, I understand that. I brought a Dutch oven to the first Heart of Dixie Hang, but I only had to lug it 1/4 mile. It was worth it, as I made Lamb Stew and dumplings for dinner and a lumberjack breakfast then next morning.

Sept is out for me, but another date in Oct, I'd be game - if you'd tolerate a newb, that is.

On a thread started last month, "Any North GA Hangs?", there's a spreadsheet from ShadowAlpha - "Add your name to GEORGIA group hang list".

Well now is a good time to start planning one since there seems to be enough interest being generated. Ideas?

I might be interested in attending a hang in the fall, I will be watching this thread. The Heart Of Dixie hangs were fun, just been so busy have not had time to try and plan another.

I heard from Bigbamaguy the other day. He hinted he may be putting together something sometime. (I don't want to pin him to anything ).

I don't know if I can make a Alabama Hang in the fall, but would love to see something in the Sipsey in the winter or early spring. I have too much going on this fall to venture too far from home until later....

Hope to run into you all soon!
