Oh...there's a few of us in Shug's sector that watch over it while he's away.

Shug didn't make me buy enough rope to hang myself, but he taught me the knots.

Shug, I feel like you're a close friend and I've never met you in person...

You've had a huge impact on me. After back surgery, sleeping on the ground was very painful. A friend introduced me to your videos and after catching the "Shug fever", I bought a WBBB. Now I'm camping and backpacking more than ever. Most importantly I'm doing it with my two sons (who are also now both in hammocks) and we're sharing experiences that will last a lifetime.

Shug, thanks for being there (on youtube) to fill those evenings when we long to be on the trail in a hammock and just cannot for one reason or another!

"Whooo Buddy....all secure in sector 7" (been wanting to say that for a long time now...)

God bless you and your family Shug!

A Shung video was my first real introduction to hammock camping. Since then, I've lost count of the number of times I've been watching a shug video and thought "hey, that's a really good idea..." and proceeded to hunt down some dumb (but incredibly useful) new idea. Heck, right now I have four pages open on making an inexpensive kydex sheath so I can hang my knife right from my pack.

Great character and great information, Shug 2012!
