Tarp with doors suggestions on the cheap.

I"m looking to purchase two tarps for some cold weather. It would be nice if the ends would close down like doors. I know of the following.

    Wilderness Logics "Old man" $135
    Warbonnet superfly $130
    McCat Ultra $137
    Jacks R better $129

    Is there anything cheaper?

Kelty Noah's 12x12. You can hang it in rectangle mode and pull the ends in some for doors. Don't close perfectly, but will keep some weather out or provide some privacy. On sale now at REI: http://www.rei.com/product/808940/ke...s-tarp-12-x-12. Here is a thread about doors on the tarp: http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=52588

I forgot to say that I have a kelty on order but it's backordered. Even the Rei kelty is on backorder. If someone knows where to get one, I'd just get that but I need it "in stock".

Oh and somehow I posted this in the wrong section. Maybe someone can move it for me.

cheaper means bulkier and heavier; not a problem unless you're carrying it on your back.

    http://gargoylegear.webs.com/apps/webstore/ has doors

Grizz beaks and others are 'add-on' doors.

Any rectangle or square can 'mimic' doors -- try "etowah" and "oware" for starters if you go this route.

Ridgeline-length is the one thing you may want plenty of...
    Hope that helps!

The OMW is awesome! It is seriously huge! A lot of tie outs though with the middle extra tie out and that gets to be a hassle but **** does it keep the tarp tight all night. But im sure you can't go wrong with any cottage vendor here just find one with everything you want.

get the noah 12' and two 5x7 outdoor research tarps and affix them on the ends for doors : converted my fast fly into a good winter tarp just about five minutes ago.

youd be $100 or less in the hole

Contact Brandon at Warbonnet about a blem, ( cosmetic only) Superfly tarp.
If he has any, you can save some cash.
