    Storm testing

    Hi all

Last wet season I did a bit of gear testing during one of our tropical storms.
Tried to post some video of the gear test on the forum but had no luck uploading it, here are a few photos instead.

Tarp is a Tom Claytor for diamond, hammock is a wilderness logics lite owl.
I very rarely have to use tarps as we have a very defined dry season here and do most of my camping at that time.

However the whole rig performed remarkably well during some strong wind and heavy rain I did stay dry even though the pitch of my tarp is not perfect.

Cold fronts bringing cool temps, wind & rain are what
i look for when checking out weaknesses in any new gear.
Good looking set up you have there, I-NT.
Great part of the world too !

Don't worry about the leeches....just think of them as baby love bites !
    Enough talking....let's get walking !
Mountain views are good for the soul....& getting to them is good for my waistline.
