Oh yea, when you get a chance definitely hit up common ground. It is excellent, especially if you are in to gardening and, well, food! Plus some really cool vendors and great music. I really enjoy the beehivers booth, they are great artists. I hope you do get a booth going about hammocks, it would be great to see that there!
Definitely look in to the bold coast in cutler, the perfect overnighter with incredible views, about a 12 mile roundtrip hike with campsites right on the coast. There were many free campsites in downeast Maine and in the county up north. Definitely pick up that gazetteer, you will certainly enjoy it. And your right, those campsites are usually driving on a logging road to the middle of nowhere. Or by canoe.
