    Mid-week mid/lower SC hang

Yeah, I know, we haven't even gotten to the next hang http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=59159, but I figured I'd throw this out and see if there is interest. I have vacation time I need to burn and I know others that often work weekends, but can get together during the week. I was thinking something like a Mon-Thur, perhaps Oct. 29-Nov.1 or Nov. 5-8. I looked online for locations, but didn't have much luck. I was thinking somewhere around the middle-ish part the state to be centrally located would be good.

I am SERIOUSLY trying to enjoy my FALL because I am probably going to have to have hip surgery before the end of the year with intensive physical therapy to follow. I hope to be able to get back to hanging by early spring.

...and in my opinion, Dreher Island State Park is one of my favorites.

I work on weekends so this would be a sweet chance for me to go to a group hang mid-week

When I wanna go camping with my buddies, it's my go-to. I haven't been in the primitive sites since I was a Boy Scout (15 years ago), but it's hands down my favorite.

There is also this one which is a little lower in the state, but still somewhat central...probably VERY QUIET. I noticed it has bathroom facilities at the primitive area and hot showers in the campground (which we could ask if we could use.) Dreher Island did not list any bathroom facilities in the primitive area.

I think I remember them having one somewhere in there from when I was there before...but their primitive area is super primitive, apparently. lol

I could possibly make it the last week in October...I'll be working 'til 8am Tuesday, then I'm off for a week...assuming I looked at my schedule correctly. Will do some looking online to see what campgrounds pique my interest.
