Great! So the only barriers are if you have work or if you have class. Well, I don't know about work, but the other shouldn't be a problem!

Just kidding, of course...hope to see you there!

Even though I work weekends these days, the boss lady said "she didn't see it being a problem" for me getting off that weekend.
I explained to her that it was a very important yearly event... & it is. I've only missed one so far.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

Great! I was hoping you would be able to come. We missed you earlier when Hurricane Sandy chased us home. See you there!

Tim and Tim, glad to hear you can make it. Hopefully we'll have a bit of snow and lots of hot soup!

I brought ZQ's Chili the past two years. Was thinking of something different this year??

Edit....Chili this year again! ZQ says she'll make it. I'll put it on the Mt Rogers planning spreadsheet.

We are in need of items for the raffle, something people would be willing to spend $10.00 for a ticket for.
WHY? The raffle pays for the site & the privy rental. It may pay for more, but I'm logistics not finance so I don't know. I can get it done, just can't pay for it. I CAN count to 10, but after that I gots to take my shoes off & NO ONE wants that.
To start things off: I'm bringing a pair of gently used Whoopie slings.

We are just a bit over 1 month from the hangout, I'm nearly packed, the Jeep is tuned & has new tires AND I got a small bonus check from work today.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

Hey Doc. I'll put up a torso length underquilt shell - 46x50 in size. It is a diy project for people that are want to make a differential cut underquilt, but don't have the time or resources to make one. All the winner has to do is add the down fill of their choice to the 9 baffles and sew the open end shut. 3 sides are already sewn and have channels. Then they just need to add some shock cord for suspension and it's done. It's a very easy thing to finish - they can even sew it by hand - it's just a short length to finish.

I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."
