    This Correct?

Thought, I posted it last night.. Can't find thread.. ugh. Hope not repeat.

Just got my 7 Yards of Fabric in, From BackWoods DIY Vendor on site. Fast shipping.

Made a DL.. Made 5 foot Whoopies for it, Threaded them through the channel. Some how does not look right.. Should I have used just a cord, bunch it up & tie it.. Then loop the Whoopies, over that bundle & Tighten it up?.

I Hung it up, Nice More space and can lay flat with lots of room for my feet & head to lay. 5' 9" not that tall, fits great. Will help, in adding more Insulation for winter camp. So much better then my Single Nest ENO. ( keeping that one for Summer Use only Or converting Others).

Threading it through the channel is simply another way of doing it. I tend to do that for my shorter hammocks (including GT UL) and for my longer, I tend to do the Warbonnet style ball. The channels seems to give me a bit more length on the shorter hammies!

    Yep, that looks great.
One thing I try to do is tighten the channel so that the eye loop is almost sunk into the channel out of sight. This will help keep it centered in the channel when the whoopie is tightened by adding weight.

There is very minimal stress on the channel stitching when you do it this way. Most of the force is on the end of the channel where the whoopie fixed end pinches it.

A channel end hammock tends to open up wider than a whipped end hammock and that is rather important if your hammock happens to be a little shorter.

Great news to know its Meets standards.. I will not fear the Sudden THUMP, from a blow out.

Just have to hang in it longer & play with the set ups. Till I find the sweet spot, then will add a Ridge line. IF I lay End to end in a straight line. The center near the feet is tight with ridge in it. Till I lay off center diagonal.. then feels better. MOre hang time will work out the bugs.

Next update on it.. To Spray it with Permethrin Add drip lines, Done.
