    I am happy you woke up dry, but I wonder if indeed all problems are solved. The next you do this try weighing your underquilt before/after you sleep in it overnight. I wonder how much of your perspiration is being absorbed by the down versus breathing through.

    Not an issue for a 1-night or weekend trip, but on a week long hike you could have some serious loss of insulation/loft unless you take the time and have the conditions to air/sun-dry your quilt.
