Thought I'd post some pics of my loot. Took the net-less Expedition and the Desert Rat tarp out to a local park this morning and hung 'em up with my AHE Potomac and Ray Jardine quilt.

The Hyperlite and OC arrived today that I scored on the last round of the odds and ends sale. I am not a big guy but I am used to big hammocks so I was worried that it would not be comfortable. I just hung it up in the living room to test it out and I am pleasantly surprised that I like it so much. I need to get a couple of nights in it to determine if I will be able to get used to the bottom entrance but I think it will be a keeper..
I will be putting whoopies on it and changing out the shock cord tie outs to some shock cord that makes sense for a Hyperlite. The scock cord for the tie outs is almost the same diameter of the suspension ropes... I don't know if I will use the oc but for the price I got it for, it's nice to have...

Still waiting on my OC and Cat Cape Tarp. I hope it comes in soon. I'm getting jealous of all you folks getting yours.
    Happy Hangin!!!

The wait is always the worst part.
It took ten days to get my last order and 4 of those days it was stuck in customs in San Francisco.

HH's shipping during this sale has been less than stellar. When I ordered my stuff, they told me it would be shipped out the next day (16th), but they didn't actually ship it until the 24th. I'm in no rush and it's not a big deal, just kinda annoying.

SpaceWeasel, it is good to hear you like the Hyperlite. I like mine too, but it sure doesn't compare to the DJ XL. It is hard to go back to a shorter hammock after being in a large, long one for such a long time. I got the OC for my Hyperlite also. I got the HHSS from another member on here.
I figure mine will be arriving any day now.
    Happy Hangin!!!

I do like it but I have to give it a few nights to decide if I will keep it. I am used to big hammocks so I have to see if I can be comfortable all night in the Hyper. If not, someone will get a great deal on it...
I just put on the oc and a set of whoopies. I hope to try it out tonight...

I think it would be a great backpacking hammock. My DJ XL is a bit heavier to backpack. I had the 2QZQ Zipper Mod #4 put on my Hyperlite. I like the material of the Hyperlite and DJ much better than the other Hennessey hammocks material.
    Happy Hangin!!!
