The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy,

Well, I'm a hammock forums newbie...so ill share from a newbie perspective.

I have attended three group hangs - each had a group supper on Saturday night -- however, one was less than a mile to the parking lot (we had a group hotdog supper).
...and the other two were car camping (with dutch ovens).
So, all on our own or group supper - either works for me.

count me as a maybe for now. This sounds better than the Green River Narrows Race for me.

I found a Uwharrie trip report by Eflat7 (thanks for the writeup Eflat7!)

Anyone know how far to the nearest water source that can be filtered?

ok so if we do group food we should figure what cooking items we have and then decide on food. i could borrow a dutch oven from my pack and maybe coleman stove.
