    Cocoon UL 60 Balaclava

The Cocoon UL 60 Balaclava is on sale at backpackinglight

The shipping to Sweden is more expensive than the item itself
I'm starting to get used to that

So if anybody is going to shop from them,
could you please buy a Cocoon UL 60 Balaclava as well and mail it to me ?

Of course i pay any extra expenses on your part , plus the shipping to Sweden.

Yep, 50% off on several of their Cocoon clothings & quilts. Not bad.

We used to wear ones like that when we were kids, but made of fleece, they're REALLY easy to make, my sister made some for home-ec class once.

their rediculous shipping methods allow them to do that.

it is interesting: they want 13 for priority shipping on the 90 'clava, but only 6.80 for the UL 60 balaclava.

Weight difference? .2 ounces. Volume difference? got a microscope?

moski, ordered the balaclava yesterday along with other sale items. Sorry didn't see your posting until now. The wool knit X/C ski hats which I have a dozen of (popular give aways at X/C races here in the USA) just was not ideal for when using a top quilt in sub 0C conditions. Curious to see how small it packs down to. The 60gm weight is reasonable. Should be warmer than the hat or even a hat and silkwt balaclava. Total shipping was $11.20 to my zip for a 2kg package. Don't consider that too outrageous.

You can see several pictures of the modification I made to the 90 Balaclava in my gallery (page 3).
I added a separating zipper to the front. Gives a much greater comfort range.
PS... don't let the red jacket fool you. I should have taken it off to demonstrate the modified balaclava.
