Here is the link for the pics. The password is "parsonsmountain". You may add to the album, if you have pics. I will add some pics on this thread, too.

Now that I have gotten a little sleep, my thoughts on the weekend:

A great big THANK YOU to each one of you for coming out to Parson's Mountain. I know many of you had to drive multiple hours to get there. You each made the first hang I have every planned a fun success.

A weekend filled with great food and fellowship, blowing up stuff at the rifle range, kayak racing and fishing, and campfire fun is hard to beat!!

It was great meeting "new hangers" and being able to get to know everyone better. I agree with Baja...getting together with everyone monthly would be awesome!

Thank you, Mike for manning the grill and making those awesome burgers, dogs, brats and onions.
Gresh, man, that cowboy stew was the bomb-diggity! I sure hope you make some as Sesqui!!!! Thanks, also, for bringing your arsenal...it was fun making some loud noise! Biscuit was great at helping with leftovers and was it was nice having she and Preacher as our camp mascots.
Prez, the pallets made the best campfire ever! Glad we didn't burn down the forest! Bumper boats kayak-style with you and ahhhgladius was fun...I think we should have double teamed him and flipped him, though! Thanks for bringing Preacher...always good to have canine campers along.
Ahhhgladius, glad you made it...most people with a fractured back wouldn't dream of going camping...you always make hanging fun! Thanks for sighting in my scope.
Rcracin, waking up to bacon is always the BEST smell!!! Did you even get any?? Sorry we ate it all...it was delicious!
Baja, I'm so glad you came so I wasn't the only girl with all these guys!!! Thanks for holding the fort down while we stuffed ourselves Friday night. You always jump right in to help and make camp great! I was hoping you might bring some buffs...I was thrilled when you announced you had...I love mine! I even wore it into the Waffle House on the way home. I will be sporting it from now on at all the hangs!
Julian, Mullinax95, Gresh, & SecretPrez, I'm glad you chose this as your first group hang...hope we didn't scar y'all too badly, haha! It was great hanging out with y'all! Can't wait for the next one.
Chickenwing and Kryptonite, little did we know that years after our first meeting, our paths would collide again! You gave me my first ever glimpse of hammock camping and planted a seed. After some recent cultivation, it is growing wild! It was great getting to hang with y'all. Thanks for all your help and advice...I'll be needing some more, soon, I'm sure.
Doc, glad you discovered us last minute and were able to make it! Thanks for being my hanging neighbor.
Groundhog, I was so glad when you got to camp so I wasn't all out there alone anymore! Thanks for helping me with my ridgeline. I guess I really should have practiced it at home. My tarp continues to be a work in progress, but I got some good advice from Prez, gladdius and Doc...maybe I'll have all the kinks worked out next time.
Gadget, thanks for making the long haul to come. I believe you take the prize for traveling the longest to get there. I know you don't get much time off...it means a lot that you spent it with all of us!

Thank you to everyone for chipping in, helping out, hanging out, making me laugh, sharing ideas and just making camp fun! Each of you made planning this hang so enjoyable and stress-free! I'm still such a noob when it comes to all things hammocking...so y'all jumping in to help means the world to me! I can't wait until we can do this all over again!!!!!

    Now for some pics...
