Arrow Sesqui Mid-week Hang in SC

    We are officially booked!

Where: Sesquicentennial State Park near Columbia, SC

    When: Monday, October 29 - Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012

Cost is a $10 donation. Please send by gift paypal to my email address junebugdawn@aol.com or make arrangements at camp. All funds will go to pay for the campsite, firewood or other needed camp items, with any remainder going to the park as a gift donation.

We will be hanging in the primitive area of the campground. There is a bathroom nearby and we will have access to the showers in the regular campground.

Since Halloween will be this week, I'm sure we can have some fun with that...ghost walks, sweet treats, costumes...suggestions??

This is a great opportunity for those who often cannot make weekend hangs due to work and other obligations. Please, spread the word about this mid-week hang. Hope you can join us!

Everything, including campfires, in moderation. I'm glad we didn't catch the trees on fire...I was seriously worried there for a minute!

I just noticed Sesqui has a Challenge Course. I think there would be an additional fee and possibly minimum group size. Would anyone be interested?

I noticed that yesterday when I was checking out Sesqui's webpage. I found this link:

I would love to be able to do it, but it seems kind of expensive...and apparently they want reservations way in a advance. If we can somehow do it while we're there, I'd be up for it.

Uh, yeah, that is not in my budget. If others are interested, I can put together a similar day here for WAY LESS per person! We have a full ropes course where I work/live. I may even be able to put together a hang here sometime.
