Talking (Australia) Spotlight sells RIPSTOP NYLON!!!

Yay! Went to spotlight today, a massive fabric store, and I said to my Aunt- I wonder if they have rip stop nylon. She said- "ask someone!" so I did, fully expecting the lady to say "no, sorry"- but she said- "Yes, over by the denim" So I have FOUND the magical rip stop nylon! I don't know if it's 1.1 or 1.9, but I will have to go back and get some- I know! I didn't buy it on sight... I'll have to go back with out disbelieving relatives.

I stood and felt the fabric- projects flashed through my mind, I'm sure there was a gleam in my eye.

    1. Hammock.
    2. Hammock sock.
    3. quilt?
    4. etc.

The only thing is, I don't think it's DWR. I'd have to ask.

Oh- and as I walked out the door, I thought- "I wonder if they have syl?"

It's just a bit heavier than 1.9 oz, comparing it to my speer hammock. But it's fine, I've made about 5 hammocks from it. Good luck and let us know how you do.
