    Hello From Southern Illinois

    Hi im Alex Ruder (Aruder),

Currently a Junior studying accounting at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, soon to be going to grad school for a masters in taxation.
    - From Evansville, Indiana
    - Also an eagle scout (4/10/08) (Buffalo Trace Council)
    - Own a HH Explorer Deluxe Classic bottom entry. (Having problems finding Under quilt for this hammock bottom entrance ugh)

I got interested in Hammock camping about two years ago and have since found to love my hammock, better than sleeping on the ground in most situations but use both.

Interested in Hoosier Hang ,but school comes first and don't have gear necessary for these colder temps.

I really want to use a hammock in my dorm room, but need a stand any suggestions?

Hello and Welcome to HF from Canada! As you may already know, there are a couple of quilts designed specifically with the HH bottom entry in mind. For myself, I have used a Hammock Gear Phoenix (3/4 length) without much trouble at all.

Welcome to the happy world of HF...there are various threads on the site where folks had their hammocks hung indoors. As a newbie on this site myself I am too overwhelmed with info to remember just where on the site I saw the indoor hangs...good luck!!!

Just remembered a good place for a way to hang indoors...look at the thread for the turtledog stand in the DIY section!!

Welcome from Charlotte. On the indoor solutions, I recommend doing an advanced search on titles with "turtledog", "turtlelady", or "indoor". There's a couple different choices to consider.
