    Now that was funny.As I recall he finally came to the conclusion that what was in his minds' eye had become a bit less clear in execution;I have had some [ok-many] of those moments.

    Haha - one of my first hammock ideas was like that. I was sure I struck gold...until I learned a few basic concepts that affect staying warm in a hammock. I was pretty excited too, before reality hit.

    But I persevered long enough to make several failed prototypes and a few workable ones.

    Good possibility it was this based on emails from the guy that makes this out west. His buisiness failed. He said the hammock was patented. He called it a Tent Hammock. He didn't deny or agree that he posted it here in HF.

    I have had the same outcome with some of my experiments.Ok, so nearly all of them.At least we learn a little something along the way, so it's not a total loss.
