Nice work GP! Who's going to carry your gear now?

    Get 'em

Great job!!! I got my family when I ordered two hennessy's for Christmas and got two of the cub versions for free. Then showed how many more short trips we could be doing, with some light weight camp traveling, especially when the TDI gets 50mpg with everything fitting inside. The wife and I are big history/old architecture fanatics. This has made traveling amazing, cheap, and a lot more often.

When I wanted to get into hanging, I knew the secret was to get the wife on board so I ordered her a BB for her B'day. Long story short, she got it before her B'day, got in it, promptly fell asleep, woke up and said this is soft, can we take it on our next camping trip. I knew she was hooked.

From talking to Granny Pat at a hang I believer her husband is slightly claustrophobic which is a reason many folks do not like hammocks so for him to evern try it is a major step.

Even he doesn't convert to the dark side, at least he is giving it a try which is all we can ask.

Maybe he will need a wide hammock with a seperate bug net so he does not feel confined.

The pad between the layers holding the hammock open helped alot. He may never be able to have a bug net, and only hang when bugs are minimal.

Loki, I got a bigger backpack and some lighter gear, so I will have to be my own sherpa.

Congrats Granny Pat. My husband is more into hammock camping now that I got the vertex. He loves being able to sleep in the same hammock with me. He also loves his HH Safari bottom entry. Says he can get in and out of it much easier.
    Happy Hangin!!!
