So happy that you and Geronimo are okay. A shout out to Shane for saving the day!

Sorry I missed Y'all yet again! I was planning on coming. I've got to where I don't even let on I'm coming anymore unless I'm positive. But my plan Thursday night was to come up Fri, though I had not told you guys N gals, as it looked like I was going to get off work early in Batesville, MS. So I figured i would be back in Tupelo early enough to get up there when it was not real late, enjoy Fri night with you guys, get up early and go to breakfast with every one at Davy Crocket's place, then come back home. ( I have to be here on Sunday morning)

But the best laid plans: emergency cases got added on and instead of getting out early, I was actually quite late, plus exhausted. So maybe next time! I know Y'all had a great time!

Had a great time, looking foward to the next one. Met some great folks, some from just down the road (Hi, stealthman and turtle 2) and others from further down the road (the rest of you crazy tree dwellers).

After packing up and having some lunch down the Trace, I noticed I forgot my chair. By the time I got back to the site the place was vacant. So, if anyone happened to save it for me I'll pick it up at the next hang.

    Till then everyone take care.
I was the last one out, and walked over everyones site.(I try to make it a habit) I didn't see a chair. Hope someone got it.
    It'll be alright Friday!

    tncamper,

Thanks for checking. Considering what Weather and Geronimo endured, losing a chair is nothing. Good thing you were there!

Thanks again to Neo for organizing this. It was my first time and everyone made me feel right at home. Definitely will be coming back.

As hamhocker said we had a great time. These get togethers are always fun and exciting.

Well I decided if I was going to get my kayaking partner back I better get him back up on the horse that threw him. He didn't want to run and jump on so I let him stay with me while I parked and then walked him back. We paddled out on Percy Priest a bit and he stayed on my lap and slightly trembled the majority of the paddle. It's gonna take a while to rebuild his trust and confidence. I think he did just fine. He didn't cower, he didn't whine, he just trembled slightly.

We also want to thank Neo and all that came. Sorry our stay was cut short. Guess no more hanging for me till I can get my back fixed. We enjoyed seeing old friends and making some new ones. Also thanks to all for treating my granddaugher so well and making her feel welcome. She made it the whole night Friday night in the hammock and loved it and was upset she didn't get to stay in it Saturday night. Thanks folks, see ya next time. tnhillbilly

tnhillbilly, hope your back gets better soon. It was good seeing you and your family again. Everyone seemed to like your wife's hammock

Good news. Geronimo and I went out for a Halloween paddle and he climbed on the back and sat there without shaking for the duration of the paddle!
