When asked why I sleep with my shoes on? I don't need to out run a bear, just need to out run my camp mates.
Greetings from Toronto. I have a HH Expedition and man it was love at first hang - if that's not an expression I will make it one. Start using it at work and in the clubs...but I digress, I don't know what that means but I heard it in a movie.
I got into Hammock camping because some girlfriends and I were going on a motorcycle trip/camp and my bike has zero storage so space was an issue. I didn't even know camping Hammocks existed in August. Here I am in October throwing around "WBBB" and "HH ASym" "caribeners" "repel rings" "slap straps" "ridgeline" "Hex fly". I'm just a girl in the big city! I guess they key to avoiding opening Pandora's Box is recognizing it in the first place. I sure didn't.
I love HAMMOCK CAMPING! I think I am talking more about hammock camping than motorcycles and I am pretty obsessed with bikes.

Welcome from Toronto,
I also use a Hennessy and got into hammocking because of sore/stiff backs and not being able to sleep well on the ground. Changed my life!! Now instead of dreading sleeping outdoors, I look forward to it.
Yeah, there seems to be a real flood of Canadians! That's amazing!

I tried a friend's HH for about five minutes and knew I had to have one. My first night in one I slept for 12 hours!! Me, who is usually up at six making coffee, didn't crawl out til 11ish. Same thing the next night. NO BACK PAIN. Three months later I gave my bed to my sister and set up at home. Best thing I ever did for my back. Just wish I'd known about this before I spent 2000 on a bed and God only knows how much on chiropractors...

Welcome from Brantford, ON
If this keeps up, our little group hangs are going to require a bigger venue!
Here's another welcome from way down in MS! I was also brought into the fold after discovering amazingly deep sleep and comfort in an HH Explorer UL surrounded by a Super Shelter for the cold. After a miserable 1st night, every additional night that week led to increasing hammock bliss. By the last night ( or even before despite being sick ) I knew something had changed for the good!
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.
My wife never believes me when I say the hammock make my back feel better
