    Ridge line length 83%?

I think I read that a good length to start experimenting with a ridge line is 83% of total hammock length measured between the suspension points, but can't find the post. Do I have that figure correct?

Yes you do. Some people use an adjustable ridgeline and start out at 83% but then dial it in a little shorter or longer to their preferred comfortable length.

That's what I've always read, and use with good luck.
