    Carvers Gap Tomorrow

Me and a friend are planning on a quick jaunt to do a little snow shoeing tomorrow from Carvers Gap parking lot up the road towards the Cloudland Hotel parking lot and maybe on to Roan High Knob if we're still feeling froggy.
Does anyone know the conditions up there? And of course if anyone wants to join us you are welcome to come! We plan on being there at 9 A.M.

Sounds scrumptious. I wish I could come, but between my exams tomorrow and the lack of snowshoes, I'm afraid I'd be doomed to posthole. Have fun, Cakes.

Sorry you can't make it but it is late notice. The news report a couple days ago said there was over a foot of snow in the town of Roan and Carvers gap is higher so we are hoping it's at optimum conditions. I'm just a little concerned about the sun being on it like it was all day today. If we don't get to snow shoe we will at least hike with crampons. Hang a hammock, have a little lunch then head back down.
