Yeah I noticed the cutting back of sites last time out. I thought the reroute was a nice hike. Where is the trail to the service road? Just curious because if I hike the west side I don't really want to pass up the connector trail to head to point 11 for the the reroute.

We'll be coming in from the trailhead up the east side of the loop to H. Stepping off around noon or so. See you there, Mike.

I'm planning for taking off from the trailhead as well. I would have to leave there by at least 3:00 in order to make it to H camp before dark. I'll just have to hurry up and get my chores done early.

Will you all be camping at H both nights? I might make it down on Sunday night if I can swing it and then do some hiking on Monday, not sure yet, but it might work.

Yes, Luke and I hiked the west side of the middle loop back around the 4th of July, it was pretty hot and I remember that H camp was so overgrown that I almost didn't recognize it. We went right through the closed off logging area. With the nice weather, I suspect it might be a busy time at any of the camp sites.

Maybe I can get out a bit earlier and spend some time enjoying the rock formations on the east side.

So Mike, you gonna have a big pile of wood collected when we get there.

Ahaa! Ya never know! I am still not sure how I'm gonna hike in. I would really like to see the west side of the middle loop but would either have to ignore the connector loop closure or hike south to the reroute. Hike east side that I've already seen and hit the reroute at point 11. Oh well which ever I choose I'll do the other on the way out monday.

Made it to site H in about 2 hours. Looks like I'm the first hanger here. Do I win a prize?
