    Carbon fiber tarp chimney video

Don't know what to make of this. This video is pretty long so you might want to skip parts. This guy is strange, but he certainly thinks "outside the box".

I don't think I'll be cutting a hole in the middle of my SuperFly any time soon.

You know, sure there are fire and spark concerns, but that is only while you are awake. How about the fantastic aroma of a ribeye just grilled under your tarp and 2 feet from your hammock, UQ/TQ...might have more than a few critters sniffing around in the night.

Interesting concept. Might not cut a hole in the super fly but might well make a vestibule for winter camping. Something to ponder for a winter camp. That carbon welding blanket shield material is also interesting... Nice job. Thanks!

I think the idea works best with the cheap poly tarps. If you haven't already, consider posting the video over at bushcraftusa forum

Crazy if you ask me, but I love people with passion for what they enjoy.

i like him, he has some intresting was of sleeping off the ground. but i think all the rope he takes with him would weigh more than a hammock and tarp.
