I second that motion. After this years florida hang in Ocala, I got a yak. And now I work in Brevard not to far from you. I'm ready for a nice little spoil island to explore.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

    Can't be much weight.
I was in a Wilderness Logic this afternoon and appreciated that mod for foot and head-you roched me into that at Ocala
I think it would come in around 6.5oz.'s .. Basically a M50 Snipe .. with a Cuben or even M50 tarp .. you'd be under 1LB. for a base sleep system.

    I love my Snipe.

That is how I set mine up, dual Knotty stretch side mods. Very similar to a Snipe. I will have to get it on the scale tonight and see what it weights.

I weighed my hammock this morning before I came to work. With 6ft 7/64" amsteel whoopies (I am still waiting to receive my Dynaglide) it came in at 6.2 oz.

I made it out of dark grey M50. It is am 11ft, single layer hammock with dual Knotty mods. Sort of like a Snipe. It is very similar to the one you made out of 1.0 ACU. I will try to get some pictures and post something this weekend.
