I wasn't sure what to except at a group hang... but I'm here to tell ya it was awesome! Beautiful weather, great spot to hang, gorgeous waterfall and a group of incredible hammockers! A big hats off to 2ply for getting this all started and put together, and to grannypat for keeping a picture perfect campfire going It was great to get together with people i have never meet, and almost instantly feel like we were all old friends. It was a pleasure to meet all of you and I look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

That was a great way to spend the weekend, with the weather smiling and the plentiful trees standing around looking for company. Mix in a group of interesting hangers with all kinds of rigs and cooking set-ups, and presto! good times.

It was a pleasure meeting everyone, and I look forward to seeing you again. I see a dutch oven and other serious hardware at the next hang.

    Good times and great weather!

Snow Man, my son Jeff and I arrived late morning on Saturday and quickly set up and grilled our lunch, and then we just relaxed around the site, before we walked down to the community fire ring to chat and meet some new folks and old friends from previous hangs. This weekend was extra special for me as I had the opportunity to spend some really great QUALITY TIME with my son who is usually away at school. So, most the time was spent talking with him and staying on our little site catching up on things. So I did not (understandably) get out and circulate and visit the others at the hang sites as I usually do. Lots of folks kept stopping by to say hello or ask about the hammock and related items used for hanging and was happy to show off quilts, and new gear to spend more money on!!! It was a great turn out and thanks to 2Ply for organizing the event.
