Beautiful. Makes me want to call out sick and hit the trail
A man does not climb a mountain without taking some of it away with him, and leaving something of himself upon it.

I hear ya. I'd rather the trail be my job, then I'd never have to call out.

I checked on the map, that is a big national forest. From the looks of the parking lot, quite a few people go there. You talked about a longer trail and a shorter trail, I take it there is quite a few trails in the area. How far can you hike in this forest?

    Thanks for posting.

We were up at Raven Cliff camping about 6 weeks ago. Great place to go, but there always seems to be a lot of people.

Yes very busy, hence the stealth hang. The short trail was to a campsite next to the road (not my cup of tea). The "longer" trail was 2.5mi to the water fall. Every camp site along the way was slammed, which is why we stealthed. Lucky for us we had the falls to our selves the next AM, which normally have 25-50 people from noon-dark. Yes lots of trails in the Chattahoochee National Forrest, the main one being the Appalachian Trail.

Yea, I didn't realize how busy it would be. It was pretty though.
