Well, I was #190 on the Black Friday sale. I got my shipping notice yesterday.

I spoke with Adam a bit today. He said that they had a great business plan in effect; however, Murphy showed up. Some of their key people, including a seamstress have left over the last month (due to personal issues, not involving the shop). The time & effort involved in the extra work have really contributed to the slow down. They can't even hire and train new employees while so busy. He apologised profusely. I can totally understand his frustration. With that being said, remember to have a little patience with them & your order. I would rather have a few extra weeks wait, than "hurry up" & have less quality. Remember, we're talking hand made in the USA and not some overseas factory.

Another newsworthy note. when Adam ordered the Cuben Fiber, he thought that it would be product that he could continue to buy. He was told this last week by the factory that this was not the case. It was a one time deal, as the roll was in fact what was left from another project that they had. He said that the fabric was much darker than what they had anticipated, so that was a real plus. On the other hand, there wasn't even enough to make me a Winter Palace out of it. He only had enough fabric to make a couple of them. I will get some photos up in the next week (I should have it in hand by next Wednesday). Adam regretted to inform us that his photos turned out bad and with the shop trouble, he doesn't have the time to get new ones out.

So to end on a positive note, save up your dough. The factory is sending him several new patterns and colors. They even mentioned possibly producing a product with a leaf pattern. I'm holding off on my Winter Palace for a couple of months for the new fabric!

Thanks for the update Boomer. Although, I would have preferred better news about the camo cuben fabric. Now I will just have to learn to be patient!

    Thanks for the update Boomer.
    I'll just keep repeating - "Patience is a virtue...patience is a virtue..."

Adam and crew - Quality is King! Thanks for your efforts.

Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.
The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy,
while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn."

I've talked with Adam about a custom job and am in no hurry. I think it will be well worth the wait.

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:16 NIV)

He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36 ESV)

While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3 ESV)

He said that you were one of the only people to get a Winter Palace in Camo. I'm looking forward to your photos.

With the factory being the 'soul source' manufacturer of CF, it will likely depend on the supply & demand that develops. It sounds like the Cuben camo will be a little touch and go until he can get a regular supply going. As the demand ramps up, the factory will likely be more amenable to our demands.

I am really looking forward to seeing the new fabrics that he's getting in the next month.

Adam checked into the Cuban camo at my request, so I ended up very lucky indeed. I think I am going to have to get a guard dog to keep watch over my tarp when it's deployed.

I think it's going to have a bit of the cool factor going for it until Adam gets into a reliable supply.

Ok, so I only had a few minutes today to throw it up, so sorry for no more detailed photos. People coming over right now... 12' ridgeline. Weight without a stuff sack. Darker, but still translucent.
