Could be worse...my brother-in-law was working on one of my nieces machines this past weekend and found that the bobbin/hook area was all gunked up. It took a lot of time and effort to clean it out.

He later asked her what she had done to get it like that. Answer...she thought it needed oiled and being a chef she used spray Pam....more then once

Compliments to the chef Yea I really don't think I've screwed anything up because my injector is an all metal beast. But with her being kinda elderly I should treat her better. Actually gonna break her down now and give her a bath

....did I hear pink duckies or kitties?? I'll take 2 of each, if you can add some pink doggies in there that'd be pretty cool too Seriously speaking, I'm in need of a blingy cupcake for my hammock top piece .....just saying

My mom-in-law gave me an Elna Grasshopper seeing machine on T'Day. It was made 2/25/1952. We've been cleaning it, lubing it, and getting used to it. My greatest sewing accomplishment: sewing a button on a shirt and ripping a hem out. I'm so looking forward to learning to sew on the old Swiss classic machine.

Ditty bags, mitts, tarps, mistakes...here I come. Reading all the posts on here will very helpful.
    The beauty of sunsets,
    The wind in the pines,
The mountains give these and more...
    Peace of mind.
