Kind of strange to consider the hammock material may be lighter than the bug net material.

Has anyone done stress tests to find out how much M50 can hold in single/double layers?

I already had most of the supplies. The only thing I was missing was the M50. I bought 5 yds of M50 so that I would have extra to use for some other projects. I would guess, if you did not have any of the supplies, somewhere between $60-$80 in raw materials.

    Pretty crazy isn't it!

Has anyone done stress tests to find out how much M50 can hold in single/double layers?
I don't remember if anyone has tested M50 to failure, but Neutron has done some good testing with his hammock.

That looks awesome. Nicely done. So how much weight can the hammock hold?
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Thank you very much. Based on the testing some other HF members have done, my guess is 200 lbs or less. That is just a guess. I am about 180 lbs, and it has held me fine so far with no signs of stress in the fabric yet. Only time, and more testing will tell.

    Dawg!

Having the quilts to match, I think you should sell it to me. Just say'in.

Agree on the thin single-layer comfort; the WWM 1.0 is darn cozy.

Wow! I want one! Great work, that stitching looks a little too straight to me though... no one will believe you made that!
