    Hello from middle IA

Been reading on here, watching Shugs videos, among others & am brand new to the hammock thing. I am a long time ground dweller, and usually have a couple weeks of camping each year but hope to step it up a little. That and I really hope to be more comfortable doing it. I recently picked up a pair of hammocks for my youngest ( 11 ) and a pal of his who has gone camping with us in the past. I found out a couple weeks ago my Sturgis riding buddy also has a camping hammock that his scouts gave him years ago and he's never used so I'm thinking it'll be a group learning thing. Great forum and nice folks on here. Thanks for all your help. kc0qnx (that's my old ham radio call sign )

Welcome from Northwest Arkansas. My son (9) and I started hanging this year, and I don't see ever going back.
