Looks like they're predicting a low of 26* Saturday night; but Saturday day looks like it'll be wonderful. Sunday will stay on the cooler side, just a bit over freezing; as long as the wind stays down it'll be great!

Pyro and I are really looking forward to meeting you and seeing some new old friends! Started going over the gear last night and making sure our cook kits were "together". I'm sending pyro (my son) with his own cook kit this time so he's more independent; he'll like that!

See you all in a few days!

Plus one air in for more warmth.

I am also heading down on Friday. Meeting up in the parking lot around 2:30 - 3:00. I will probably pack up Saturday morning and meet up with everyone else Saturday morning around 11:00 in the parking lot.

    See everyone soon

Don't forget to bring a piece of cheap gear to give away in our exchange if you want to participate!

CB4; how far is the hike to the campsite?

I have my gifts already wrapped; ones a surplus army sleeping bag liner that weights about 13 lbs

Seriously I've got mine ready to go; uber lightweight so no one's burdened on the way out!

Also, I found the secret to truly ultralight backpacking....it's bringing a 13 year old son who's taller than you and has a belly full of fire

    Looking forward to it gentleman!

Looks like I'll be able to come down Friday. Are we hiking in to the campsite Friday? And are we allowed to have a fire?
    Comically bad at DIY
