    I started working with a group of boys in ur BSA troop on the Hammock Camping merit badge. I ordered a bunch of materials for hammck modifications, creations and other gear we plan on making over the winter break next month.

    I finally took some time to finish Derek's book (Kindle version) and guess what just made the "required reading list" for this merit badge? Yes, it's that good, that thorough and that important.

    Thank you Derek for a best seller.

    Thanks Mike! That's praise indeed! My new crop of scouts are all interested in hammocks and winter is a great time to make hammocks.
