I for one sleep lighter on my back. I find that it's harder to sleep through the night without a restroom break in the wee hours before dawn.

What I have discovered is that I sleep better not more in a hammock. I feel rested in a shorter time.

For me, I solved this issue by buying, trying and selling several hammocks until I could fine one that allowed me to sleep on my side which is what I do in my bed.
I have the hardest time sleeping in my bed, I hit the hammock and I'm out like a light. I really need to fix my hammock stand
