Yes welcome to HF. I just got back from Joshua Tree where something like this would be great.
I too would like to see what other hammocks fit this stand.

Welcome to the group! I'm also excited to see how interoperable it is, as well as how US distribution/prices work out.

Couple of things I wanted to point out in case you'd missed them elsewhere in the forum.

Derek (The Ultimate Hang)has done a pretty thorough review of our hammock support system which included pointing out some nice improvements that we can make.

It has the usual attention to detail, illustrations etc that he does so well. He was kind enough to rig it up with a couple of hammocks such as his Hennessy to demonstrate how to modify our system slightly to accept hammocs up to 11 feet.

Also, Derek's been keen to try out a website that runs some software to administer online contests so we've agreed to give one of our Handy Hammocks away to one luck winner so that he can kickstart some contest activity in his blog. Entry is via Derek's Website: Win a Handy Hammock. Entries close on Jan 19th - Good Luck.

PS I think Derek's keen for feedback on RaffleCopter.com the site that administers the competition... user-experience, ease of use etc.

    Thanks!

    Humm.
Anyone know off hand if a Bear Mountain Bridge, or Ridge Runner are beyond 11 feet at attachment points? I'd go measure but I'm about to head out the door.

Still if a Hennessy fits i see no reason a Black Bird won't fit, and i have both. The only reason i have not purchased a hammock stand for the back yard is i don't relish the thought of dragging around a 40lb hammock stand, or finding a place to store its' bulk when not in use.

    But the shipping cost.
