Mine is in. I must say the first attempt was an exercise in frustration. The video is MUCH easier to follow than the written directions that came with the hammock. Maybe it's just the way I process info. I was able to set it up and hang in it but I'm not sure it was 100% correct. I plan on playing with it some more tomorrow.

    Hi everyone,
I was actually a little late in getting the order dispatch confirmations out. We dispatched most people's orders within a day or two of receiving them so hopefully they'll start arriving en masse over the next few days.

I got it set up. The directions confused me at first. I had to stand back and just look at everything. After a couple of minuets the little light bulb above my head went off and it all made sense..

Handy Hammock - The Ultralight Hammock Stand

Looks like your tester approves of it

Mine is still en route. South Florida is a long way from anywhere.

Sorry no pics. But did get it set up at the Troop meeting. Didn't let rain get in the way. In fact it made the ground soft to get the stakes in. It did take a while to follow the directions, but its not in my nature to use them in the first place. I kind of wish there was another set of lines to hold the bottom of the pole to the stakes. The stand did hold us leaders. Weights ranging #230~250.

Here is a link to Dehoja's typically excellent setup illustration. He makes everything look like child's play

Wish mine was here but mail is always slow in the metro DC area. Ah well, it is going to rain buckets over the next 48 hours so at least it is not here with me trying to set it up in pouring rain
