    New fella from South Carolina

Looking to learn about hammock hanging. The older I get, the harder the ground feels. Ordered the Ultimate Hang book and will start to learn about hammock hanging and researching the different ways to hang.

    Welcome from Florida!
The ground definitely gets harder with age (my age)! Smart move getting the book!

Welcome to the forums from Indiana!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

In addition to the SC Frozen Butt hang Jan. 25, there is a group hang outside of Helen, GA coming up Jan. 4, 5 & 6: http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=63773
Come on out and look around, even if you can't stay overnight. If you don't have the hammock set up yet, we also welcome ground dwellers in tents. You will see a lot of different set ups and everybody is very friendly. Look forward to seeing you at a hang.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!
