I love to combine 2 of my favorite things! I can haul a lot of gear in my inflatable kayak. The Sipsey Wilderness are near here is a perfect trip when the water is right, and then there is Big South Fork...
Kayaker and hanger here. Love them both.
One reason I switched to hanging is that I had trouble fitting tent poles into my hatches.
Here is a kayak hang on the Albemarle Sound. My Blackbird is under the tarp in the upper left. My friend, who was still a ground dweller, now a hanger.

hey guys i have had finals hadnt got a chance to reply but looks like most of you all paddle rec. boats how about some whitewater? we should get a group together to paddle somewhere in the southeast and hang....the nantahala russel fork or just do some creeking
