    Woot: Yukon Outfitters Double

For those looking for a reasonable deal, woot.com seems to have a "Yukon Outfitters Double" on sale.

Haven't run across this manufacturer before, does anyone know anything about them? Some of the comments seem to note that it was made specifically for sale on woot, and I don't find much in a quick dig. I'm assuming this is either a small custom run of them, or a rebrand of someone elses kit?

Anyway, no suspension included. YMMV, not affiliated, etc etc.

Plus 5 for shipping. I ordered one.

Add a ridgeline and it seems like a decent hang for the backyard or car camping or for guests.

At 11ft and 350 load limit at under 20+5 shipping it appears to be a good deal. I snagged one just to have a spare around the house. Nice find.

I ordered one. They say it is 6'4" wide by 11 foot long with the hanging hardware (what ever that may be). A hammock for the price of the material is hard to beat. I havent seen much 6'4" wide material.

As a full-sized man, I appreciate the dimensions of this hammock.

    i ordered 1 too.
with a couple of "s"biners i'll use it as a combo weather protector for my UQ and gear hammock.
or i'll keep it in my bug out bag.

Yeah.. I went in for one too, the S-hooks at either end look a bit lame, but I'm used to whoopies and hennessy suspension. I'll probably modify it with a bit of amsteel and see how it hangs.

    I ordered one also

I couldn't find any references to the company or hammock on Google. I'm betting this is a special order done by Woot. At $25 total cost, it will give me something to play around with. I've got soft shackles and whoopie slings to replace the hardware.

I asked the wife it she wanted one also - "only if I can hang it in the house" - yeah, I can do that....

I find it funny that if it were a special order done by Woot, they still have a "list price" of $69.99. Great marketing?
