Nice! Vstrom and a hammock, that was going to be my late summer and fall. A herniated disc ruined that, but thanks for letting me experience it through your pictures!

Didn't see any deer. But we did have a cool raccoon visit our campsite. I woke up to a noise under my hammock. I looked down and right next to me a raccoon was methodically searching through the pine needles. Every so often he'd grab an acorn and crunch it down. I asked him what he was doing and he stood up for a few seconds and looked at me then when back to his acorn search. We had no food out and he wasn't bothering us so I just went back to sleep.

Coming back after a month of NO HF (almost no internet [by choice btw]), I really enjoy the trip reports even more.
