I would like to join in also

I would like more information on the event. I would like to help Silver Palmx2 with his birthday problem. Of course it depends on my rehibilation of my broken heel.

I would be a new "joinee" to your group. Some back ground: -live in Staunton, Va. (Jct I-81 & I-64). Eagle Scout, retired Navy Chief, retired Va. State employee. Noobie to hammock camping, but an experienced tent camper.

Heres the trip report of the fall hang at Yates place. It's in the UHwarrie national forest. This may give you an idea what it's like.

It would be great to have some new hangers join us. I went last time and this is a low stress group, with good food I might add.

I'm tentative myself - really want to come, just depends on schedules and whatnot.

I plan to make it as well, but I will not know for sure until the time gets closer

The trip report is good, but I believe there is no way to truly capture the fun we all had without experiencing it first hand! The fall hang was my first, and everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome

yes we all had a blast. Including still sleeping beauty...

so what do we think of a combo of slow cooked crock/dutch oven? I figured with fluffy at the ring and how much time we spent around the fire we can cook and gab.

we still need someone to make the spreadsheet.
A special thanks to Dream Hammocks, Dutchware. BIAS and Hammockforums.net for donating to our Secret Santa.
