Yeah that would be a good plan. I'm not looking at very cold temps this weekend (low 55*) and I sleep warm anyway. I'll probably just take the ccf and use the liner and poncho liner as my other insulation if I need it. I usually use a 0* bag, but I forgot it at home when coming back to school.

Square corners, didn't even think about rounding them, but I don't think it would make much difference with comfort or weight. WNC is the sh*t! I like the coast, too. I grew up there

I use a small CCF pad just for my feet & lower legs along with a partial under quilt. I greatly prefer the egg crate texture because I can discern if I'm on or off the pad much easier, even with thick wool socks on my feet.

Another thing that you can do, if you have an inflatable, is to let out about 1/2 the air and put it down. Supplement it with cutouts from one of the CCFs, so that you don't get cold shoulders.

Even after getting a UQ, you can still take a square of it for use on the ground (something to stand on when getting into the hammock, even on muddy ground) or you can put it under your legs/heels for additional warmth.

Although, I'd go for this one now: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Wenzel-71-...roduct+Reviews
