Congrats on the purchase, it's a wonderful hammock. Next, I'd recommend saving for a Lynx under quilt. Its fit on the RR is the best hammock-UQ combo I've ever seen. It's almost hard to explain.

I got the 0* lynx with my RR. I had to look and see if it was plugged in, it felt like an electric blanket. My concern is, it may take up too much pack space. It is a very impressive piece of gear.
I had totally reasoned my way out of buying a Lynx and sticking with general purpose UQ's, but you guys have swayed me. Especially since I finally setup my RR for the first time today. Now the question is 20° full length+pad or 0° full length for mostly fall/winter use? Have a Spindrift already on the way too.
The Cool-aid is pretty good, isn't it ferret?
I have had 6 spinal surgeries and the last one less than a month ago. I have been bedridden and miserable. Last week I decided I would rather be miserable outside and put up my Ridge Runner in the back yard. I laid down and within a minute my pain was gone. I sleep on a Tempurpedic mattress and it is nowhere near as comfortable as the RR. I just wish the saddlebags were sewn on backwards from how they are now. For example, the deepest part of the saddlebags is at your shoulders where you cannot reach well. If the deepest part were "flipped" you could reach into the deepest part at your waist. Still it is my favorite hammock so far!
